You will need the following supplies:
1 Willow Branch wreath (9 x 9)
1 Package of decorative nesting birds Pink/Yellow & Blue/Pink
2 Artificial spring flowers We chose a Periwinkle Hydrangea ( lavender/blue) color
1 small package of Easter paper grass We chose a bright neon green color
Wired ribbon We chose a soft pink in a shear fabric ( 1 width)
2 small plastic eggs Pale yellow
Hot glue gun
Glue sticks
Door Hanger or medium size nail
For this project a willow branch wreath was used to create a backdrop for your front door Easter craft display.
Step 1 Take a small piece of your Easter paper grass and form it into the shape of a nest.
Step 2 Using your hot glue gun, apply glue to the bottom of the nest and secure it to the bottom inside portion of the
wreath.
Step 3 Using your hot glue gun, apply glue to the bottom of one of the decorative birds and secure to the nest holding firmly in place.
Step 4 Place artificial flower to the top back left side of the wreath and hold in place. While still holding artificial flower # 1, position second artificial flower right above it (see below for photos) and hold.
Step 5 While still holding artificial flowers in place, begin wrapping the wired ribbon around the wreath and artificial flowers several times until flowers are tightly secured to the ribbon leaving enough ribbon at the back of the wreath so that it can be easily attached to a door hanger or nail.
Step 6 Using your hot glue gun again, apply glue to the bottom of your second bird and attach to the top outer section of the wreath (position the bird off center to the right of the wreath a bit (see below for photos).
Step 7 Using your hot glue gun, apply glue to the bottom of both plastic eggs and position to the top outer portion of the wreath between the artificial flower and decorative bird.
